2013 Law Student Convention

 

The National Law Student Convention provides law students and pre-law students from around the country the opportunity to meet others seeking to discern their callings and become faithful Christ followers in the profession. Join us for times of informal fellowship, directed discussion, intensive instruction, and praise in song during the weekend!

THURSDAY OCTOBER 17

LAW STUDENT MINISTRIES AFTER HOURS

Fellowship and snacks are featured late into the evening—this is a time to meet new friends, hang out with your colleagues, and be energized for the weekend

   

FRIDAY OCTOBER 18 

12:30-3:00pm

CHRISTIAN LEGAL SCHOLARS’ SYMPOSIUM AND LUNCHEON 

The symposium is optional, but this year lunch for students is courtesy of the Center for Public Justice!

This year’s law student session features chapter sharing, an introduction to the CLS ministries, and a mentoring luncheon.

Mentoring Lunch 

Practicing lawyers will join each table of law students to share, ask questions, and give advice by practice or geographic area

WORKSHOPS

Students are free to engage the workshop topics offered throughout the conference. This year, we have designed the Career Options panel and Scholars’ Symposium workshops specifically with students in mind, like Women In The Law, Immigration issues, International Justice, and Religious Liberty topics that may be of interest.
