Childcare & Kids’ Conference

CLS is pleased to offer childcare through its Kids’ Conference again this year – and this time, we are offering it to parents for FREE for all registrations receivedby July 31st.  Come and bring your children with you to the beautiful white sand beaches of Clearwater!

The Kids’ Conference is designed to minister to your entire family by allowing you and your spouse the opportunity to fully engage in the main conference while providing your children with spiritually meaningful, enjoyable, and memorable activities, including crafts, Bible lessons, and games.

The Kids’ Conference will be created and operated by a wonderful team of committed Christian childcare professionals from Skycrest Baptist Church’s KidZone Ministries.  Dawn Quait is the KidZone Director and will focus on the elementary aged children during the conference.  Kimberly Singleton is the KidZone Preschool Director and will focus on the babies through pre-kindergarten.

Age-appropriate care is available for children ages 0-11.  Rest assured that Kids’ Conference operates under Florida state guidelines for age-divided space andchild/worker ratios.  Because of CLS’ and KidZone’s firm commitment to quality, Christ-centered care – and for parents’ peace of mind – all workers are background checked and vetted through KidZone’s standard procedures.  We have some capacity for children with special needs requiring individual or special attention but such arrangements must be made by August 1, 2013.  Please contact CLS for more information.

Located onsite at the Hilton Clearwater Beach, Kids’ Conference is available during each session of the main conference, including all workshops.  Kids’ Conference begins on Thursday afternoon during the early bird workshop session and continues through the Saturday evening banquet.  Kids’ Conference is not offered on Sunday.  For your convenience, children may be dropped off and picked up15 minutes before and after each session.  With the exception of dinner on Friday night and lunch on Saturday, parents are asked to pick up their children for all meals as Kids’ Conference will be closed, and your children will eat their meals with you.   

To adequately prepare for Kids’ Conference, pre-registration is required.  Kids’ Conference is FREE for all registrations received by July 31, 2013.  For registrations after July 31st and by September 15, 2013, Kids’ Conference is $100.  Late registrations after September 15th are $200 and are only accepted based on availability and are not guaranteed.
