Monthly Breakfast and Lunch Meetings
Our breakfast and lunch meetings will continue monthly in 2007 with programs on a variety of topics. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Board is planning all breakfast and lunch programs for the second Friday of every month, alternating between breakfasts and luncheons beginning with breakfast on February 9, 2007. We will take a hiatus from our regular schedule in July for our annual picnic to be held Saturday, July 14, 2007, and in October when we traditionally send members to the DU and CU law student mentoring luncheon (date and time TBD). Please "docket" these events on your calendar and plan to attend. Breakfasts will continue to be held at the 2nd floor conference room of The Edward Building (location of Peterson Dymond Reagor, LLP) in the DTC. We have found a new location for our luncheons in the downtown area that we will be trying out over the next few luncheons, with free parking onsite, and reasonable lunch prices. It is El Senor Sol at 2301 7th St. near downtown Denver, across the street from the Downtown Aquarium. We are hoping this will turn out to be a more consistent location for our lunches in the future. The lunch programs this year will include several CLE-approved topics. Don’t miss these great opportunities for networking, fellowship, appealing presentations and discussion, and good food!
Objectives for CLSMD Events
- To provide a means of society, fellowship, and nurture among Christian lawyers, judges and law students;
- To encourage and inspire Christian lawyers, judges and law students in their faith;
- To share the Christian faith and the gospel with other lawyers and judges;
- To proclaim Jesus as Lord through all that we do in the field of law;
- To help Christian lawyers and judges integrate their faith with their profession; and
- To provide a forum for the discussion, and professional development and training in issues, problems, solutions, and practical advice relating to Christianity and the law.
Too Busy?
No problem. Many of our CLS meetings will not interfere with your work or your family obligations because they usually take place during lunch or breakfast.

Too expensive?
Don't worry! Currently, the cost for all attendees at the semi-monthly breakfast meetings are covered by a generous corporate donor. Law students and lawyers within six months after graduation are always free for lunch and breakfast meetings.
We try to keep the costs for all events as inexpensive and reasonable as possible. However, scholarships are available for all events. Contact us for more information on scholarships.
