It is not what we accomplish in life, what we aspire to become, or what gifts or talents that we have been given that matter. What matters to Him is the condition of our hearts. Are our hearts pure and devoted to Him alone? Are our hearts aflame for Him? Are our hearts totally His? Are our hearts fully captured and submitted to His word and lordship? Are our hearts truly His home? Loving the Lord well and loving others well is the highest call. All He ever wants from us is to love Him. He created us to worship Him. The world is irrelevant to our true calling in life.

We invite you to join us for a retreat where you can explore loving the Lord well by attending to His whisper, following His lead, and resting in His arms. Listening for God is not like listening for signs of alien life in outer space—He speaks to everyone every day. The real questions are what He is saying, what He is doing, and how we can move in unison with Him. With God’s help, we will ask these questions, get real answers, and become better partners in the dance that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have been doing since before time began.

Registration includes reception, lunch and the entire program. Our Retreat Leader will be Jim Helfrich, an attorney at Gersh & Helfrich, LLP, in Denver, Colorado, who also has a masters degree in Theological Studies from Wheaton College. As in past years, CLS Chaplains Glandion Carney and Phil Ashey will be available for spiritual friendship, conversation, direction and prayer along the way!

Cost:  $65 per participant  (includes Lunch only on Thursday)
