ORDINARY LAW PRACTICE AS A SACRED CALLING 1:30 - 5:00 p.m.Scholars will gather this year to discuss the Christian doctrine of calling as it relates to the legal profession. The Symposium will begin with a keynote address on "Christian Calling." Afterwards, a panel of legal scholars will address Christian perspectives on the "ordinary" practice of law. An extended time of discussion will follow the panel. The symposium will close with concurrent roundtable workshops on various practice areas, jurisprudence, and the integration of faith and practice. Breakfasts and dinners are provided with your CLS conference registration. Registrants will be invited to join the Saturday luncheon at the National Law Student Convention. The Symposium is open to professors, students, legislators, and practicing lawyers who desire to seek truth in their teaching, scholarship, and work.
