Legal Aid Ministries will be holding its Project Directors Conference and its Christian Legal Aid Training Conference concurrently. The luncheon speaker will be the Honorable James O. Browning, United States District Judge, District of New Mexico (pictured at left). Before joining the bench, Judge Browning was an active participant in the New Mexico Christian Legal Aid Program.

Project Directors are encouraged to join together with their colleagues to discuss ways in which Legal Aid Ministries can better serve our clients spiritually and how we can expand the services to the poor and needy in our communities.

We will also be discussing fundraising, training, and mentoring new leaders. We also want to invite all attorneys, law students and paralegals who are new to Christian legal aid to join us for our day-long training.

Included in the training are: "Sharing the Gospel," "The Importance of A Desk Reference Manual," "Basic Client Interviewing," and "Becoming a CLA Leader."
