3rd ANNUAL INSTITUTE FOR CHRISTIAN GIFT PLANNING EQUIPPING THE SAINTS Thursday Institute: 8 am - 5:30 pm (includes lunch) The Gift, Estate & Trust Section of Christian Legal Society is pleased to announce the Third Annual Institute for Christian Gift Planning. The Institute is designed for Christian attorneys who are interested in gift and estate planning with a Christ-centered worldview. This year’s theme: "Equipping the Saints: Enabling Stewards to Finish Strong" will be reflected in the CLE credit offerings (approx. 6 hours), including presentations on: "A Biblical Mandate for ‘0 Tax’ Estate Planning’, "Addressing the ‘Soft Issues’ With the Estate Owner in regard to their Family and Others,’ "The Use of ‘Testaments’ in the Testamentary Plan", an ethics hour concerning the "The Christian’sUse of Living Wills and Health Care Directives", a "Current Events" update for the charitable planner and other ‘breakout sessions’ allowing you to choose between basic and advanced discussions on specific planning tools and issues. Our faculty will once again showcase respected speakers and practitioners from around the country, including Emil Kallina, Glen Yale, Jason Havens, Greg Sperry and others. You may expect to be challenged by this year’s luncheon speaker, Ray Lyne, one of the most highly respected gift planners in the Christian ‘community’ of churches and ministries around the country. In addition to providing legal training, the Institute will offer information on the Gift, Estate & Trust Section of Christian Legal Society. In creating this section, the co-sponsors, CLS and National Christian Foundation are responding to a growing need expressed by Christian ministries, churches and others for help in identifying technically competent, Christian planning counsel. This section provides ongoing fellowship and professional services for its members, as well as an opportunity for referral by Christian organizations to those seeking planning services in your area. |
