Accommodations

All accommodation reservations must be made by the attendee. The Christian Legal Society's group rate is $129 per night - single to quadruple occupancy. NOTE: CLS does not reserve rooms - that is the responsibility of the attendees. The reservation deadline for receiving the conference rate is good until the conference begins; however, the Hilton is close to filling up so call today. Call Hilton reservations at either 1-800-HILTONS or the on-property reservations line at 703-847-5000. You also can make your reservations online by going to www.McLean.Hilton.com. Select "Book a Room" from the left-hand menu. Select your check-in and check-out dates (Group rates effective from October 23rd through November 2nd). Under the SPECIAL ACCOUNTS (Optional) section, in the Group/Convention code:box. Make your reservations early - CLS' hotel site has sold out the last two years!

Airline Carrier

United Airlines and Lufthansa is offering special CLS Conference rates available for travel from October 23 to November 3, 2004. United is offering a 5% to 10% discount off its published round-trip fares (applicable restrictions must be met) both domestically and internationally. By purchasing your ticket 60 days or more prior to your departure date, you may receive an additional 5% bonus discount. Discounts may only be obtained by calling the United Meeting Reservations Desk at 800-521-4041. Refer to Tour Code 515BR.

Cancellations

Any cancellation/request for refund must be made in writing. If received on or before October 15th, a $75 administration fee will apply. If received by 4pm EDT on October 22nd, a $150 fee will apply. CLS will issue a cancellation number. If you do not have a cancellation number prior to 4pm EDT on October 22th, you will not receive a refund. No-shows will not receive a refund.

CLE

State bar approved credits will be provided. Up to 7.5 CLE credits are available and there is no limit on the number of CLE's an individual can take. There is no additional charge for CLEs; however, you must fill out the proper CLE forms at the conference to receive credit.

Dress

The dress for the conference is primarily casual, except for Friday night, which is slacks and collared shirt, and Saturday night, which is jacket and tie. Otherwise, dress to relax, learn and fellowship.

Registration

The registration deadline is October 20. Because space is limited, all reservations after October 20 will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full is required to process all registrations. The registration fee covers the five Main Sessions, five Workshop Sessions, three buffet breakfasts and Bible studies, and two dinners. We will confirm your completed registration by mail. Registration Notes

Note 1: The status of your membership at the time of registration on October 28, 2004 determines your registration fee. Those attending law school or undergraduate school full time are considered "Students."
Note 2: When both spouses are either attorneys, law students, or associates, the spouse with the higher registration fee must register and the other need only pay the spouse fee. (e.g., if one spouse is an attorney and the other spouse is a law student, then the attorney registers at the attorney fee and the student registers at the spouse fee).

Transportation

The Hilton is located 14 miles from both Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport and 40 miles from Baltimore Washington International Airport. Options to get to the hotel:

1. Baltimore Washington International
Super Shuttle, typical minimum charge is $50
Taxi, typical minimum charge is $70

2. Washington Dulles International
Super Shuttle, typical minimum charge is $15.
Taxi, typical minimum charge is $30.
The Hilton will offer shuttle service to and from Dulles International Airport on Thursday, Oct. 28 and on Sunday, Oct. 31. Final transportation times will be posted on CLS' website www.clsnet.org no later than Sept. 27.

3. Washington Reagan National Airport
Super Shuttle, typical minimum charge is $15
Taxi, typical minimum charge is $30
Metro, typical minimum charge is $3.00
The Hilton will offer shuttle service to and from the West Falls Church Metro Station for those arriving at Reagan National Airport who take the Orange Line Metro from the airport to West Falls Church on Thursday, Oct. 28 and on Sunday, Oct. 31. Final transportation times will be posted on CLS' website www.clsnet.org no later than Sept. 27.
