Prayer & Praise Newsletter for May 2007
PRAISES
- Praise God for a Missouri Supreme Court decision upholding government financial assistance to a religious college (the CLS Center filed a "friend of the court" brief in the case); and
- Praise God that the University of Wisconsin-Madison agreed to recognize the CLS chapter at the law school (the school had threatened de-recognition on the basis of its religion non-discrimination policy).
PETITIONS
- Please pray that the California Supreme Court will justly decide North Coast Women's Care Medical Group v. Superior Court, a case involving the right of physicians to practice medicine in accordance with their religiously informed consciences (the CLS Center filed a "friend of the court" brief in the case); and
- Please pray that God's people will meet the financial needs of the CLS Center.
