Prayer & Praise Newsletter for March 2007
PRAISES
- Praise God for a decision of the California Supreme Court that reversed two lower court decisions that denied Christian schools equal participation in an education funding program, a case in which the CLS Center had filed a friend of the court brief; and
- Praise God for the substantial attorneys' fees payment the CLS Center will soon receive from Montgomery County Public Schools following its successful civil rights lawsuit on behalf of Child Evangelism Fellowship.
PETITIONS
- Please pray that the Missouri Supreme Court will justly resolve St. Louis University v. Masonic Temple Association, a case involving the constitutionality of tax benefits to a religious university in which the CLS Center filed a friend of the court brief; and
- Please pray that a U.S. District Court judge will grant a motion for summary judgment filed by the CLS Center on behalf of Colorado Christian University in a lawsuit challenging the exclusion of "pervasively sectarian" institutions from state student aid programs.
