PRAISES

Praise God for the quick and just resolution of a dispute between a Christian student group and University of Georgia officials over the group's exercise of its religious freedom; and
Praise God for the resolution of a similar controversy between the group and University of Missouri officials.

PETITIONS

Please pray for a just resolution of a case involving the validity of a federal statute designed to protect the consciences of pro-life health care providers (California v. United States), in which the CLS Center intervened on behalf of the Christian Medical Association, the American Association of Pro- Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants;

Please pray for a just resolution of a case involving the faith-based initiative (Hein v. Freedom From Religion Foundation), in which the CLS Center filed a friend of the Court brief in the Supreme Court; and

Please pray for Christian students at the University of California-Hastings College of Law who are involved in litigation with university officials over the officials' decision to punish the CLS chapter there for its efforts to maintain its Christian character.
