Timothy J. Tracey
Timothy J. Tracey began serving as Litigation Counsel for CLS's Center for Law and Religious Freedom in October 2003.
Tim graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grove City College in 1999 with a B.A. in Christian Thought. He received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2002. At Wake Forest, Tim was a teaching assistant for Professor Laura Graham, served on the Wake Forest Law Review, and was a member of the Christian Legal Society. He additionally earned the Wake Forest Faculty Scholarship, received the I. Beverly Lake Constitutional Law Award, and is a member of the Order of the Coif.
Following law school, Tim practiced commercial litigation at Nelson, Mullins, Riley & Scarborough, a corporate defense firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In October 2003, Tim joined the Center staff to defend and advance religious freedom through litigation.
