Los Angeles Chapter EventsMonthly Bible Study
Our monthly Bible study, discussion and fellowship is held from noon to 1:00 on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the offices of Heller Ehrman LLP, 333 South Hope Street, 39th Floor, Los Angeles, 90071. Bring your own Bible and lunch. Notice of the monthly Bible study includes the topic for the month, which often focuses on some aspect of facilitating the integration of our faith and practice. Past topics have included the following:
- ‘Ttorneys, Teachers and the Tongue
- The Apostle Paul on “Where Is God When It Hurts?”
- An Attorney’s Worst Nightmare—The Story of Zacharias (Luke 1)
- Gluttony and the Lawyer—How Do You Escape the Stressful Demands of Your Legal Practice? (Proverbs 23:20-21; Phillippians 3:8-21)

Recent Events in Los AngelesOn November 29, 2006, we presented a program by Jon Primuth entitled “Promoting Religious Liberty in China: A Report From the Inside.” On January 31, 2007, Keemin Ngiam spoke on “An Introduction to the Work of International Justice Mission: Defending the Least of These” Both programs were lunchtime events offering MCLE credit.
At the August 28, 2007 Bible Study, Jane Oak shared about her recent missions trip to China in “Play Ball! Sharing God’s Love Through Softball in China.”
